The Importance of the Buick GMC Recall Department

The recall department is of the utmost importance as it will identify when there is a problem that you need to be concerned about. The dealership will provide a replacement of the part at no cost. Some parts may be for aesthetic purposes while others may affect the safety or overall functionality of your vehicle. As such, as soon as a recall is identified, you need to be aware of it.

How to Handle a Recall on Your Vehicle
Most recall notices are sent directly to your home if it affects the model that you own. However, some recalls are voluntary, which means that the dealership will notify you of the issue when you bring your car in for its next scheduled service. Additionally, you have the ability to search the recall database with your VIN to find out if there are any recalls in place.
